Who we are

Nazrani is the consumer brand of Signet Solutions, an online store at nazrani.com. Signet Solutions is the entity responsible for your personal data (the Data Fiduciary under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023).

What personal data we collect

We collect only what we need to run the shop:

• Account: your name, email address, and phone number.
• Login credentials: your password, stored only as a one-way bcrypt hash, never in plain text.
• Social login: when you choose Continue with Google or Continue with Facebook, we receive your name, email address, and the provider’s user ID.
• Verification: email-verification status and phone one-time passcodes (OTP).
• Orders: items ordered, order value, and the GST breakdown.
• Shipping: your delivery address, including PIN code, locality, and country.
• Payments: a Razorpay payment reference and status. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details — these are handled directly by our payment processor, Razorpay.
• Communications: the emails we send you, such as order confirmations and verification messages.
• Reviews: any product review text you choose to submit.
• Technical: session cookies that keep you signed in and protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF).

How we use your data

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

• To create and manage your account and keep you signed in securely.
• To process, fulfil, and deliver your orders.
• To check shipping serviceability and rates, and to dispatch your parcel.
• To take payment and issue GST-compliant order records.
• To send you transactional emails such as order confirmation and email verification.
• To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

A note on social login (Google and Facebook)

We use Google and Facebook only to verify who you are and sign you in. We receive your name, email address, and a provider user ID — nothing more.

• We never receive your Google or Facebook password.
• We do not post anything to your social account, and we do not read your friends, posts, or contacts.
• You can disconnect Nazrani at any time from your Google or Facebook account settings, and you can request full deletion of your data (see our Data Deletion page).

Who we share data with

We share the minimum necessary with trusted providers who process data on our behalf:

• Razorpay — payment processing.
• India Post (Department of Posts) — shipping serviceability, rates, and dispatch (delivery PIN code and address).
• Google and Meta (Facebook) — optional sign-in, governed by their own privacy policies.
• Amazon Web Services, Mumbai region — hosting our website and database, with data held in India.
• Google Workspace (Gmail) — sending our transactional emails.

Cookies

We use only functional cookies: a secure, HTTP-only cookie to keep you signed in, and a cookie that protects against cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

How long we keep your data

• Account and order records are retained while your account is active and for as long as required by applicable Indian tax and GST law.
• On a deletion request, we remove your account and associated personal data within 30 days, except records we are legally required to retain.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data, and to nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. To exercise any of these, or to raise a grievance, write to care@nazrani.com.

Children

Nazrani is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The last-updated date above will change, and significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
